Analysis of Global Markets
Committee members will learn how to follow global events and analyze them to determine how markets and their securities are likely to move.
The International Business and Economics Club (IBEC) at Penn focuses on the intersection of economics, global affairs, and international relations. Through conversation with industry professionals, analysis of current events, and club workshops, this club aims to provide members with a stronger understanding of how to navigate the world of global business. Individual goals range widely, including preparation for a future career, establishing industry connections, or simply learning where to put capital.

Members become analysts for committees that represent the markets of particular world regions (Latin America, East Asia, Europe, etc.), and go through an apprenticeship route designed to cement their financial skills while developing global market awareness.
Our fund is an open-end capital appreciation vehicle managed exclusively by committee members. Investment decisions are based on stock pitches developed by regional analysts.
