Committee members will follow major global events and analyze them to determine how markets are likely to move.
The International Business and Economics Club (IBEC) at Penn focuses on the intersection of economics, global affairs, and international relations. Through conversation with industry professionals, analysis of current events, and club workshops, this club aims to provide members with a stronger understanding of how to navigate the world of global business. Individual goals range widely, including preparation for a future career, establishing industry connections, or simply learning where to put capital.
Committee members will follow major global events and analyze them to determine how markets are likely to move.
Members become analysts for committees that represent the markets of particular world regions (Latin America, East Asia, Europe, etc). Committees will present their findings to the club to inform investment decisions.
Open-end capital appreciation fund managed exclusively by club members; investment decisions made based on each committees’ market analyses.
